About Carols Art

Hi,
I'm Carol Hughes.
I'm an amateur coloured pencil and pastel artist based in Ruthin North Wales. I specialise in wildlife and pet portraits.
I've been very fortunate growing up surrounded by wildlife in the beautiful hills of North Wales. Animals have always been a passion of mine. They have inspired many of my drawings from a young age. My aim is to create realistic animal portraits, which capture the heart and soul of your pet to be treasured forever.

I currently work for the NHS. My art is my passion in my spare time which I hope to make this my full time job one day.
