The Lighted Stage Music Events is a project, run by Elaine Walker, to bring small music events to community venues.
We have a regular Open Mic Night (Mason's Arms, Denbigh - 1st Wednesday every month) and a regular Songwriter Night in St. Asaph (The Barrow, last Friday of every month) - please check our facebook page for dates - and occasional music nights and events in locations such as The Carriageworks, Denbigh; The Crypt, St. George; Church House, Nantglyn; and The Shiloh, Cwm Penmachno.
The Lighted Stage started in 2013, and was awarded a Freelance Futures Commission Grant in 2023.
The ethos of the project is that any performer who is booked to play receives a fee and that we focus on bringing live music to small community venues.
The Lighted Stage is always keen to collaborate with venues that would like to hold a music event, and/or with musicians who'd like to be part of our work in promoting live (largely original) music from artists in the north Wales area.
We can provide a full Mackie PA, sound technician, usually a photographer and also a host/event manager who will play an intro set.
